About me

          I can easily state that working in both the design office and on the construction site throughout my career has allowed me to improve my interior design talents in both directions. I began my work with 2D drawings and 3D visualization, then moved on to design, and finally to construction site. I also got the opportunity to work in various projects on international area. As a result, I got involved in every level of the design process. I worked as a manager both in the office and on the construction site because I worked hard and did not limit myself with my job title. I appreciate my job, the obstacles it presents, and successfully overcoming them.

     I began my business career at Kapicioglu Insaat after graduating from Istanbul Technical University's Department of Interior Architecture. I started working as a 2D drawings and 3D visualization specialist in this company because I was interested in displaying skills since my university days and had mastered them. Here, I sharpened my 3D modeling and rendering skills. FGA Architecture, the official distributor of Sketch-Up and V-Ray in Turkey, offered me the role of V-Ray and Sketch-Up lecturer because of my 3D modeling and rendering abilities. However, I was unwilling to accept this opportunity since I did not want to leave my profession and follow another career. I also began accepting more responsibilities at Kapicioglu Insaat. After a while, Quality Control was added to my job description, and I was given the opportunity to work in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. At Kapicioglu Insaat, I got the opportunity to work on hospital and residential projects in general. Kapicioglu Insaat is the company responsible for of all Dünyagöz Hospital (Worldeye Hospital) design and implementation. While I was working at Kapicioglu Insaat, I was contacted by YTC Insaat and started working as a Design Manager there. In the beginning, I supervised the project with four architect colleagues, but our team grew to eight over time. At YTC, I was able to work on hotel, office, and residential projects. We completed the designs for Papara Headquarters, Futhouse Gaming House, and River Hotel Tbilisi while working with YTC. Later, I transferred to Hofu Georgia, YTC's partner company, and relocated to Georgia.

         In Tbilisi, I began working as a design manager on the Hilton Garden Inn Riverview hotel project. Quality Control Chief was eventually added to my job description. I was appointed site manager in only a couple of weeks. I continued in this position to the project and  handed it over to the customer. The Hilton Garden Inn Riverview project is one of the most pleasant I've ever worked on. I received very strong references and job offers from both the customer and the consultancy firm.
